#1: "Beverly Danielle - At First Sight"
Written and Drawn by Anthony Joseph Buffa
(A Word From The Creator: This is my first comic I’ve completed [sort of]. I couldn’t find any inkers to do the job, so I tried inking the pages myself. After 3 infuriating retries on inking the first page, I finally gave up and just post these pages as is until I can find an inker. The Xs on some of the panels represent stuff that’s supposed to be inked and filled in with black [it might not be how pencils do it, but I’ve read somewhere that’s how they do it] just in case anyone was wondering why there are Xs in there. Anyway, I decided to go through with this after some words of encouragement from a friend at work and got inspired to do it after reading Harvey Pekar’s American Splendor stories. This is the first of many comic book memoir stories to come, and I plan [hopefully] to make this a bi-monthly series [every two months], so stay tuned for more issues of Different Tones!)
